HANWHA VISION has launched the PNM-A13022RV, the latest addition to the company’s multi-sensor camera line-up designed to deliver “exceptional clarity, flexibility and efficiency” for a wide range of surveillance applications.
With a horizontal field of view of 194° and vertical coverage of 93°, the PNM-A13022RV model captures expansive scenes with fewer blind spots, making it ideal for large open areas, complex facilities or outdoor environments. This wide coverage reduces the need for multiple cameras, lowering system costs and simplifying overall surveillance management.
The PNM-A13022RV uses three image sensors to compose a panoramic image, duly resulting in fewer stitching lines than panoramic images composed of four images. Image distortion is automatically adjusted at the stitching lines in real-time, thereby ensuring a consistently seamless image.
The cameras also feature horizontal distortion correction. Due to the optical characteristics of the wide-angle field of view in panoramic cameras, image distortion often occurs, causing the horizon to appear curved. The PNM-A13022RV supports horizontal distortion correction, allowing end users to set a reference line to correct this effect.
WiseIR technology enables clear images under low-light conditions at a viewable length of up to 20 metres across four individual zones with automatic and manual level adjustment.
Detailed video
At the core of the PNM-A13022RV is the high-resolution 13 MP camera operating at 30 frames per second (fps), delivering smooth and detailed video that captures fast-moving objects and critical events with clarity.
Integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features enable object classification, motion detection and advanced analytics supported at full 30 fps, including people, vehicles and license plate detection.
Business intelligence – including people, vehicle and crowd counting, along with queue management and heatmap – is powered by the AI engine. Metadata attributes such as gender, age, facemask, glasses, vehicle types and colour as well as clothing colour are transmitted directly to the VMS, streamlining forensic searches and allowing security teams to respond quickly to incidents.
These AI-powered capabilities also support complex scenarios like crowd monitoring, traffic management or compliance verification, in turn enhancing situational awareness across diverse environments.
The PNM-A13022RV also incorporates privacy and cyber security measures to protect sensitive data with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification, secure boot and encrypted storage to ensure robust device integrity. Organisations can confidently deploy the camera in sensitive or regulated environments knowing that operational efficiency and compliance are maintained.
Connectivity and management are simplified through built-in cloud support, Wi-Fi direct installation and compatibility with major VMS platforms, enabling remote monitoring, configuration and “seamless integration” with existing security systems.
The durable, weather-resistant housing with IK10 impact protection and IP66 ingress protection ensures reliable operation even in harsh outdoor conditions. Horizontal distortion correction preserves image quality across the wide field of view, providing accurate and actionable surveillance footage without compromise.
