Texecom introduces latest version of SmartCom 4G communicator

Following in the wake of a focused programme of development, the advanced gateway communicator now benefits from enhanced connectivity across all 4G bands.

Signal sensitivity on all the main bands has also been improved, thereby increasing usable range from masts (in some instances by up to four times).

An all-new antenna also provides a stronger signal, ensuring reliability in any environment where 4G signals are available.

Practising security installers can also benefit from an enhanced algorithm. This renders the SmartCom 4G solution “more resilient than ever” such that it remains connected in even the most extreme environments.

Enhanced installation

Installation has been further improved with the introduction of a new QR code configuration making system set-up quick and easy and saving security installers both time and money.

Further, the site management process has been streamlined through the introduction of a new interface to render the process of adding, removing or updating sites even easier.

Commenting on the product update, Hugh Devereux (head of product management at Texecom) explained: “This is an exciting stage of the SmartCom 4G communicator’s journey. By introducing these enhancements, we’re delivering solutions which are constantly evolving to cater for the needs of both practising security installers and their end user customers.”
