Security solutions distributor Oprema appoints new managing director

Williams has been working side-by-side with Matthew Epps, the company’s current managing director, to allow a smooth transition of the business and continuity of leadership until Williams officially takes the reins on 1 January 2022.

Williams brings over 20 years’ industry experience to the role, with six of them having been served in the role of sales director at Oprema.

Commenting on the decision, Epps stated: “Over the past 11 years, we have built a great company that’s staffed by great people. We recognise Gareth’s immense contribution to the business and I cannot think of anyone better than him to lead Oprema into the next chapter. I’m delighted to appoint Gareth as the new managing director. His ability to think strategically and his vision for the company will form the next stage of innovation and growth for Oprema.”
