IN APRIL, Paxton is going to launch Solo: a new access control system designed to “transform” how installers and end users manage security. Developed by Paxton technology specialists, and underpinned by 40 years of industry innovation, the system is phone-based and cloud-hosted, thereby marking the beginning of a “new era” in access control.
Adam Stroud, CEO at Paxton, explained: “We’re always exploring how evolving technology can help installers and customers. By starting with a blank sheet of paper and looking at the technology available today, we’ve developed something truly game-changing. It’s simple, elegant and a practical solution that will open new possibilities in access control. April marks the start of a new era, and we cannot wait for installers to see what’s possible.”
Access control is evolving fast. Installers and end users are looking for systems that are simple to install, easy to manage on a remote basis and flexible enough to scale. Mobile credentials are on the rise, while expectations placed on security solutions remain higher than ever.
In response, Paxton has been exploring how emerging technologies can reshape access control for the modern world and is set to deliver its biggest technology year yet.
Installers interested in experiencing the new technology first-hand can do so on the Paxton Tech Tour, which is running at numerous locations throughout the UK across the spring and summer months.
Attendees will be privy to the first look at Solo and a free one-door kit, as well as being able to learn how to fit and benefit from the solution, while at the same time gaining exclusive updates on Net2, Paxton10, PaxLock and Entry.
