We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to come on board and be trained up in sales and design. You will be starting out as a Junior Sales Estimator for a highly successful company. Working from home but with an office in London, you will be highly organised and able to manage your own workload.

Working for an electronic security integrator who provides design, installation and maintenance services to diverse public sector, corporate and industrial customers and is supported by its own accredited monitoring centre. The current strategy is to build on these core competencies with additional value adding and differentiated new services. As part of this strategy, we are looking to expand the sales team and to create a new position of Junior Sales Estimator.

We are looking for an individual to prepare layout designs for intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and associated systems. Critical to success will be versatility, strong customer focus, and a hunger to add value during an exciting phase and support growth within the business.

• Communication and customer service skills.
• Cost preparation and professional presentation of quotations for intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and associated systems.
• To complete reports, certificates and assessments as required and within agreed deadlines in line with NSI (National Security Inspectorate) regulations. Training and support will be provided.
• Ensure clear work instructions are obtained and any customer specific requirements are collated.
• Ensure all new quotes are delivered within the time frame and the costs of installation fall within the project profit margin.
• Working closely with the engineers, and Business Development Managers to ensure all information required is accurate, providing support to the BDMs and an element of internal sales/telesales.
• To build a working knowledge of security systems, training and support will be provided.

 Beneficial:

• Good IT skills and a familiarity with Microsoft packages are essential. Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook etc.
• Ability to work independently and to create a presentable piece of work with a proven track record.
• You will display an interest in technology and solutions that are cost effective and profitable.
• You will be a team player with ambition to succeed.

Advantageous:

• Working knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and associated systems.
• Prior experience in the electronic security industry, administration, or a similar role.
• Prior experience using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Whilst not essential, an electrical based qualification such as BTEC or ONC would be advantageous.

£20-30k basic DOE

40 hour working week (office hours)
