Full Time (Hybrid Working)Description:
We’re looking for a Fire Risk Business Partner to join us across the Northwest and Midlands region. Contractually you’ll be based at Altrincham, however you will work a hybrid working pattern consisting of home, hub and site work. Travel is required for this role; therefore, you will need hold a full driving licence and be willing to stay overnight when required.
Internally you’ll be known as Operational Risk Business Partner – Fire.
What it's like to work here
Reporting into the Senior Operational Risk business Partner, you’ll be part of a team of 11, made up of Fire and Health & Safety professionals. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape fire safety strategies for the National Trust in your regions and protecting historical structures significant to our heritage. You won’t just report findings, you’ll collaborate and partner with our property teams, helping them find solutions and influencing them to be successful.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be providing specialist fire safety advice on the ground to the properties you look after. You will enable operational staff to meet their fire safety and general compliance responsibilities.
Working within your region, you’ll develop a pragmatic approach to fire safety, enabling each Property General Manager to determine and plan for mitigating actions. You’ll support General Managers and Property Heads of Departments as required to deliver that plan, not taking away accountability for compliance from the operating line.
