DIGITAL AND cloud-based security solutions provider Texecom has announced the appointment of David Mountfield as the Haslingden-based company’s new CEO, effective as of 1 November.
Having joined the business back in October 2022 in the role of chief revenue officer, Mountfield has since demonstrated “exceptional leadership” and “a strong vision” for Texecom’s future. His experience in the realms of strategic development and commitment to quality aligns seamlessly with the company’s own core values.
A graduate in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Central Lancashire, Mountfield initially spent to years as team manager at Capital One Home Loans before transitioning to become head of inbound sales at Phones4U.
The role of head of sales at Card One Banking followed ahead of a move to Radiant Payment Solutions in April 2016. Across the ensuring six-year period, Mountfield served as European head of telematic sales, global head of sales and sales director.

Texecom’s chair Duncan Cooper will return to that role after having served as interim CEO. Cooper has expressed his gratitude to those who supported him in this transitional period. “Under David’s leadership, I look forward to a period of sustained and profitable growth for Texecom,” stated Cooper.
