Cutting-edge video tech from IDIS on show in Birmingham

AN EXPANDED range of edge AI cameras and a new 2 MP video intercom will be showcased by IDIS at The Security Event 2024. The former are part of IDIS’ end-to-end solutions offer, which encompasses everything from cameras to NVRs, AI box devices, network accessories and a choice of VMS.

Premier Partner IDIS will demonstrate how it’s now easier than ever for customers to benefit from deep learning video analytics, with applications spanning commercial premises, public spaces and also perimeter zones.

The nine new camera models – including 2 MP, 4 MP and 5 MP bullets, domes, turrets and PTZ options – deliver accurate and dependable detection and auto-tracking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, enabling a rapid response to alerts for intrusion, line cross attempts and loitering events.

Meanwhile, IDIS’ new 2 MP outdoor-ready video intercom (the DC-I6212WRX) is the first NEMA 4X, IK10 and IP66-rated product of its kind offered by any video surveillance vendor. It can withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions and yield system integrators an affordable, yet powerful access control device for their customers.
