APPLICATIONS ARE now open for several positions on the Board of ASIS International’s UK Chapter, presenting industry professionals with an opportunity to take on a leadership role in what is one of the UK’s most active and influential security networks.
Serving on the Board is about more than attending meetings. It’s about shaping strategy, delivering valuable events and helping ASIS UK’s membership to grow and succeed. Those whose applications are successful will be part of a passionate team of professionals committed to advancing the security profession, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.

Being an ASIS UK Board member represents a unique opportunity for individuals to:
*enhance their leadership skills by contributing to strategic decisions
*grow their professional network by engaging with connections across the UK and internationally
*develop event planning and project management expertise by helping to deliver seminars, networking events and various initiatives
*make a tangible impact on the security community as a whole
It’s also a great way in which to give back to the profession, while also developing new skills that can enhance career development.
Roles and essential attributes
ASIS UK is currently seeking candidates for the following roles:
*Chair: Lead the Board, set the strategy and represent ASIS UK (Read the role description here)
*Vice-chair: Support the chair, manage key initiatives and drive sponsorship engagement (Read the role description here)
*Industry liaison: Build and maintain strong connections with industry partners, sponsors and media outlets to enhance UK Chapter visibility and collaboration (Read the role description here)
*Digital content director: Lead on communications, marketing and digital presence (Read the role description here)
ASIS UK welcomes applications from all members, regardless of whether they’ve served on a Board before. What matters most is:
*a willingness to commit time (approximately 6-10 hours per month)
*enthusiasm for supporting and promoting the UK Chapter
*the ability to work collaboratively with fellow Board members
*an interest in developing skills and contributing to the ASIS community
*previous leadership or committee experience is an advantage, but not essential
