ENGINEER ALI Tremasi and technical support specialist Gareth Vaughan have joined access control solutions manufacturer Inner Range on the back of the business having witnessed strong sales throughout the UK and Europe this year and with even more rapid growth expected now that sales channels have been integrated with parent company and global distributor Anixter.
Tremasi’s role as pre-sales technical consultant includes designing highly sophisticated integrated access and security systems for would-be customers, consulting on potential system designs and ensuring that integrators and end users alike understand precisely what Inner Range’s systems can deliver.
The company’s flagship product Integriti (featured on page 53 of the September 2022 edition of Security Matters) is known as “the most integrated access control platform”, in turn meaning that multiple integrations with third party systems must work seamlessly for end customers.
Tremasi will work closely with Inner Range’s sales team, listening to customer needs and suggesting solutions that work for site users as well as system operators.
Previously a technical engineer for Hikvision and a BT field engineer for tech support and delivery firm Enjoy UK, Tremasi has been undergoing in-depth technical training with Inner Range to bring him up to speed on system capabilities.
“Customers need solutions that make life easier,” said Tremasi in conversation with Security Matters. “Those solutions are usually underpinned by some pretty complex technical work to create sophisticated integrated systems. The technical challenge is really rewarding for me. I love the problem-solving aspect of creating and tailoring systems that really make a difference to businesses.”
Tremasi added: “I’m also excited to join a growing global company. There’s an opportunity for me professionally as well as for our customers.”
Commenting on Tremasi’s appointment, Inner Range director Tim Northwood stated: “Ali’s solid engineering experience is a great foundation for joining our team. He’ll be working closely with our sales team to help them answer questions and design potential system solutions to meet customers’ needs.”
Engineering support
In tandem, Gareth Vaughan is welcomed to Inner Range’s technical support team to bolster engineering support for integrators and end users.
Vaughan boasts more than 20 years’ experience in the security industry and is joining Inner Range in the role of engineer for applications. He will support customers with technical queries about Inner Range’s systems and integrations, as well as providing training for integrators and also product demonstrations as part of the sales process.
Vaughan explained: “Inner Range’s systems are highly innovative and at the high end of the security market. This is a great step up for me at what is an exciting time of growth for the business. I’m very much looking forward to becoming an expert on the Integriti product range, and more specifically building my knowledge on large access control systems, while at the same time helping customers to create the solutions they need.”
Tim Northwood said: “Delivering excellent technical support for customers is just as important as the quality of our products themselves. Gareth’s additional expertise and experience will ensure we can continue to grow sales and be confident that those sales are always underpinned by the level of engineering support customers might need.”
Vaughan was previously a technical analyst at the CSL Group, where he provided similar customer service and technical support. He has also worked with CSL DualCom.
