About the Client:

  • Our client, specialists in the Fire and Security industry, are seeking a hardworking and passionate Service Support Administrator based around the Bristol area to join their team on a permanent basis.


The Role:

  • Manage all aspects of site documentation including Health and Safety Documentation, Permits to Work, Technical Documentation, Maintenance Documentation, Installation Documentation, Financial Information and Personnel Clearance information.
  • Implementation and Monitoring of rigorous site Document Control Policies and highlighting areas of non-compliance.
  • Ensuring both paper and electronic based administration systems are kept up to date in line with agreed KPI’s.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of the daily / weekly / monthly routine work schedules.
  • Working closely with the Engineering and Health and Safety leads to ensure all necessary documentation such as Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place to allow the work to proceed on site in a timely manner.
  • To proactively interact with both the Customer’s and other Contractors site-based administration teams, building a good rapport, ensuring the smooth flow of information to enable the efficient running of the site operation.
  • Liaison with External Suppliers and Contractors working on behalf of the company, ensuring work instructions, purchase orders and site clearances are received and acted upon in a timely manner.
  • Assist Operations Director in the gathering of information as and when required.
  • Assist in the production of daily, weekly and monthly reporting packs.
  • Act as first point of call, ensuring a timely response to all enquiries.
  • Adherence to Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Presenting a professional image at all times.
  • General support of Site Operations staff as necessary.


Qualities Required:

  • Experience of working within the High Security Industry – ideally site based.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Online Documentation Systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with Online Documentation Systems.
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • 5 Year checkable work history.
  • Right to work unrestricted in the UK/EU.
