[Expired] Project Engineer

Description:

You’ll be working for a fire and security company based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire with a wide range of clients including English Heritage, National Trust, local councils and commercial sites across the UK.

They have a close-knit team of engineers whose main aim is to deliver an exceptional service to their clients. They are looking for a like-minded engineer who wants to contribute to the team and are aligned with their core values.

Role

As an experience engineer, you will be you responsible in both installation and commissioning of systems including EMS Firecell, Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Notifier, Texecom and Galaxy.

Responsibilities

• Installing systems to the required British Standard, on time and on budget
• Help to manage and exceed client expectations
• Provide accurate, regular reports to your manager on the progress of the installation
• Manage other contractors and junior colleagues on site where appropriate
• On larger installations, take responsibility and account of lead times for the equipment you are fitting
• At the end of an installation, provide the correct completed certification accurately and on time
• Provide marked up drawings to our team for them to be able to produce zone plans and as fitted drawings for the client

Required

• Experience working with fire and security systems such as EMS Firecell, Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Notifier, Texecom and Galaxy
• Experience of conventional and addressable fire systems across a range of manufacturers equipment
• A proven background and experience of working within fire and security engineering
• Good communication skills

Package

£30,000 - £35,000 + door to door travel (OTE £45k)

(No on call rota, 31 days’ holiday including statutory, company van)
