Are you a technically minded sales professional, looking for your next career move? Been involved in fire design projects and you'd like to take that to the next level? Perhaps you're a fire engineer, looking to come off the tools and progress your career in sales. After all, you've been doing it as part of your job anyway. 

Working for one of the best-known brands in the fire industry, you have a real opportunity for building your career in sales. Working from warm leads from the engineers, as well as building up your own relationships, you'll be winning new installation contracts and selling the follow up maintenance contracts for a wide range of organisations, from SMEs through to larger organisations. You'll use your own technical knowledge to advise your clients as to the best way forward and secure the all important deal. You'll also be retaining existing business, so building your portfolio of both known and new clients. 

Relationships are everything in this job. You'll be working to highly achievable targets, and fully supported right from the first day, undergoing any training needed to become the successful sales professional you know you are, within your first six months. You'll also undergo additional training to help you do your job well, safely and ethically including relevant fire legislation.

What background do you need for this role?

Ideally, you'll have trained as a fire engineer (conversant with a range of fire alarm technology, and potentially FIA accreditations) and gained some sales experience along the way. If you've come from a purely sales background, we'd be looking for at least 3 years’ sales experience in a business to business environment coming from a similar type of industry in the contractor market.   

You will need a UK driving licence, be able to demonstrate solid IT skills using Microsoft products, and an ability to plan and organise your time within a defined territory.

Salary

£33k to £38k basic plus OTE in the region of £60k per annum
