Based on BS5306-3 Commissioning and Maintenance, and BS5306-8 Selection and Installation, this IFEDA course and successful completion of the BAFE recognised examination, will result in technicians who will be qualified to:
advise on the suitability and positioning of portable extinguishers, carry out the commissioning and on-going maintenance requirements. This course fulfils the training competency requirements for registration on third party certification schemes i.e. BAFE SP101, leading to demonstrable competence under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
