Description:

Looking to make a difference in today’s world?

Would you like to play a valuable part in securing our environment and future?

Are you looking to build relationships in an exciting, people-oriented role?

If you thought Security engineering is all about hard hats and building sites, think again! It plays a fundamental role in protecting and safeguarding people and their environments. This includes educational sectors, local authorities, specialist sectors and much more.

As a trainee, in partnership with Zitko Talent, you will be learning how to support and create solutions with state-of-the-art technology using high-end CCTV (cameras) and access control systems.

You will be working for a well-established business who will value and support you, offering a competitive salary, fantastic benefits, modern environments and provide you with the foundation to launch a great career.

There is also the added benefit of the industry continuing to grow during the current pandemic, meaning long-term security and stability for you and your career.

If your desire is to improve everyone’s quality of life and shape the world of tomorrow, then this is a great opportunity for you!

What should you expect from the training?

A fully coordinated programme of training with your employer during your first 12-months which packs in around 125 hours’ foundation training, up to 160 hours’ product training and on-job-the-job training.

The best bit is that you won’t pay a penny for your training.  In fact, you’ll be earning a decent wage as you work and learn full-time (often including additional company benefits).

In summary, you’ll get:

·        A year’s paid employment with your host company.

·        Carefully planned on-the-job training and work experience.

·        Classroom and online training working with security technology, applications and concepts.

·        Certified training on the systems your host company uses – direct from the manufacturer.

·        Mentoring and support from the Zitko Talent team and your employer.

·        An NVQ Level 3 in Security Engineering

·        Up to £20,000 of support, training and investment in you and your career.

So, what background do you need?

·        Ideally, you’ll have a background in electrical systems – this could be electrical qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds, Undergraduate Degree, Postgraduate Degree), or previous hands-on experience in a similar engineering-related discipline.

·        Naturally, you will enjoy communicating and building rapport with others and travelling. You’ll work well as a team, love solving problems, making a genuine difference every day, learning and building on your inherent engineering skills abilities. And of course, you’ll love technology and want to part of an exciting industry!

Requirements

You must have a clear criminal record and hold a full UK driving licence.
