Description:
Our client based in Bedford has an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator to join them on a full time basis. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator will be the main point of contact, linking the office to the customer and will be responsible for processing and managing service through to invoice.
Duties of a Service Coordinator:
- Effectively plan the Engineers’ routes, reducing downtime and wasted journeys
- Contacting customers and contractors to plan maintenance dates and update planners
- Ensure Engineers return their completed job packs
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly, ensuring the customer's issues are managed effectively
- Support the business to maximise revenue and secure opportunities
- Ensuring emergency callouts are responded to within agreed SLA timescales
- Monitor email boxes to ensure customer requests are responded to in a quick and efficient manner
Requirements of a Service Coordinator:
- Previous experience in customer service
- Have a proactive approach to working
- Be organised and work efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
- Experience with coordinating/scheduling - desirable
