We have 2 positions available, one position in the London & South East and East of England Region and another position in the North East England and Midlands Region. Your application will be deemed to relate to the region within which you reside.
You'll work mostly within your home Region and be responsible for carrying out property-based fire risk assessments. You'll hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel. This will involve overnight stays as and when required. Your contractual location will be one of our regional hubs.
The role involves a combination of travel, working from home and from a regional hub – we have a number available throughout each region. There will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The exact scope of the area you look after will be based upon where you live and the location of our current ORBP (Fire) colleagues.
Internally this role is known as: Operational Risk Assessor - Fire
The interviews will be held week commencing the 12th June.

What you'll be doing
You will be undertaking a variety of fire risk assessments on National Trust complex historic houses and larger National Trust holiday accommodation plus other building types where required. You will be taking existing fire risk assessments and reviewing them against prevailing National Trust policy to produce a revised assessment which identifies specific mitigations.
Professional Indemnity Insurance is provided for employees undertaking this role in connection with National Trust business during the course of their employment.
Who we're looking for
Relevant qualification in fire safety & fire risk assessment e.g. Fire Protection Association, NEBOSH, Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineers

Salary: £35,724 per annum
