Description:

This global enterprise, based in Letchworth, are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to join their team. This is to oversee the Installation Technicians and Commissioning Engineers, to ensure timely delivery of installations from start to completion. 

As the Installation Manager, you will work closely with both the projects and design teams, ensuring smooth communication and updates on various projects. 


The Role:


·        To oversee and manage all the technicians and commissioning engineers and ensure that they are working together to ensure the client needs are met with minimal scheduling conflict.

·        Oversee the on-site progress on the technicians and commissioning engineers to ensure that jobs meet internal objectives (delivered on budget, installed to the highest standard and within timescale).

·        Identify and plan for future hiring needs.

·        Ensure new hires are trained to comply with client standards/processes in line with the training manager.

·        Help with creating a career path for technician and commissioning engineers to allow progression when required into different areas of the business. 

·        Mentor teams to enhance both technical and general skills. 

·        Continually improve quality and efficiency within the organisation. 

·        Responsible for approving timesheets, expense reports and annual leave.

·        Hold regular one-to-one meetings with direct reports.

·        Responsible for scheduling technology training as required for the roles. 

·        Attend meetings with customers and project management team to analyse and determine customer system needs and provide recommendations. 

·        Understand all customer standards and ensure that all fulfilments are met to milestones and quality standards.

·        Work in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety standards and requirements with the safety of self and others in mind at all time


Requirements:


·        Previous management experience in a similar role would be hugely beneficial.

·        Flexibility to travel within the UK and EMEA as required.

·        Knowledge of Lenel, C-Cure and Genetec highly advantageous. 

·        Previous experience in leading a team.

·        Commutable distance to the office would be ideal.
