[Expired] Infrastructure Engineer

We are working exclusively on behalf of a National Security Systems Integrator who pride themselves on delivery of the latest IP CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems to their high-profile client base across the country. They have a growing division of the company which is their IT technical support, design and infrastructure team and are looking for an infrastructure specialist to join this rapidly expanding team. You will have the opportunity to progress quickly and lay the foundations of building this team and be the right person with the work ethic and ambition to succeed and will be rewarded accordingly.

Role

·        Research and identify the most appropriate options for delivery infrastructure for both internal and customer solutions, aligning with the ‘Off Prem’ initiative.

·        Planning, designing and developing off-prem solutions, through hosting or cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

·        Manage the deployment, maintenance and upgrade paths of the infrastructure.

·        Maintain and test business continuity plans and systems.

·        Shape the roadmap for the development and evolution of the infrastructure that is appropriate for the current needs as well as scalable for the future needs of the business as well as those of customers.

Required

·        Five years’ experience in a similar role

·        Designing and managing Active Directory

·        CCNA, Cisco, Dell, HP Switches

·        Confident with a variety of technology

·        Either AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect

·        Designing and deploying highly available solutions

·        VMWare Certified Professional

·        Hyper V Certification

·        Familiar with back-up software such as Veem.

·        Designing and deploying highly available solutions

·        Deploying and managing SAN solution

Salary

£40k – £55k + travel time and overtime
