[Expired] Fire and Secuirty Service Engineer

This top security systems installer is looking for a multi-disciplined Service Engineer based in Cardiff, Newport or Gloucester. Field-based, you will service and provide maintenance on access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and fire detection.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is perhaps more fire-biased to gain further training and qualifications on a diverse range of security products as well as fire. Working for an NSI, FIA Gold-accredited business, you will be in a well organised and friendly team of engineers looking after some nice accounts and clients, so customer service skills and good communication skills are key.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out service calls on a daily basis
• Service, maintenance, fault finding and preventative maintenance on CCTV, intruder, access control and fire system
• Attend and resolve daily service calls plus maintenance visits where required

Required:

• Working knowledge of the following intruder alarms: Texecom, Galaxy and Aritech
• Working knowledge of access control systems (PC-based and standalone)
• Working knowledge of CCTV systems across analogue and IP platforms
• Preferred experience of the following will be advantageous but not essential: Paxton, ATS, Risco, Lenel, C-Cure, Tecton, Genetec, Xplan, Vicon

Package:

£28,000 - £32,000 + OT and call out, car or van supplied, credit card, fuel card, 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, travel time paid amongst other benefits.
