Fire Alarms Service Co-ordinator – Romford Essex


Our client based in Romford has an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator to join them on a full-time basis.  Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Co-ordinator will be the main point of contact, linking the office to the customer and will be responsible for processing and managing service through to invoice. 

Duties of a Service Coordinator: 

  • Effectively plan the Engineers’ routes, reducing downtime and wasted journeys 
  • Contacting customers and contractors to plan maintenance dates and update planners
  • Ensure Engineers return their completed job packs
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly, ensuring the customer's issues are managed effectively
  • Support the business to maximise revenue and secure opportunities
  • Ensuring emergency callouts are responded to within agreed SLA timescales
  • Monitor email boxes to ensure customer requests are responded to in a quick and efficient manner

Requirements of a Service Coordinator:

  • Previous experience in customer service 
  • Have a proactive approach to working
  • Be organised and work efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages  
  • Experience with coordinating/scheduling - desirable 


  • Pension 
  • 5 hours per week
  • 33 days paid holiday entitlement 
  • Commission structure   


£25,000 - £28,000 + incentive bonus
