About the Client:
- Our client, specialists in the Fire and Security industry, are seeking a hardworking and passionate Fire Alarm Service Engineer based around the Hull area to join their service team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Covering the Northeast M62 corridor (Hull, Leeds) the successful candidate will be in a service role with the responsibility for helping deliver and maintain life safety fire detection systems.
- The role will predominantly be based in the Hull & Leeds areas but will require some travel within the Northeast & Northwest to support certain projects & customer sites as required
- Carry out emergency light tests, replacements, and services as well as service and fault find on complex fully integrated fire systems with our end-customers from various domains & disciplines
- Installation & Commissioning – Undertaking installation and commissioning works to support the delivery of moves, changes, additions, and project works
- To participate in an on-call rota of 1 in 4 days
- To attend reactive calls and breakdowns, and perform general maintenance work
- Maintain, complete small repairs/installations to a variety of fire systems
Qualities Required:
- Full driving license required
- Experience in the delivery and servicing of larger complex fire detection systems on new/existing sites
- Siemen’s experience preferrable
- A good knowledge of IP networking and IT skills
- H&S trained and basic awareness
- CSCS or ECS
- Minimum of four years’ UK fire and security experience
