Our client is looking to bolster their thriving sales team with an Area Sales Manager in the Scotland and North East of England region immediately.

Having broken into the UK market, our client are innovative experts in developing Access Control and wireless Intercom systems, along with additional products to include keys safes, cabinets, key fobs, transmitters and more! Developing their products over the last 21 years, our client provides truly bespoke Access Control solutions to local authorities, the housing market and property management companies, whilst driving a 'people first' ethos for their customers and employees. 

What the position entails:

• Proactively prospecting to develop business and personal/department pipeline.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects (full training provided).
• Build a robust network of installers and distribution partners.
• Account Management with support of the Inside Sales team.
• Effectively manage CRM system along with person diary.
• Actively develop personal understanding of products, market and target customers.
• Proactively take part in sales meetings.

What is expected from you:

• Proven track record in new business development and field sales.
• A highly ambitious and proactive individual.
• Experience of high-volume lead/appointment generation activity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter whose confident working independently, as well as part of the team.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Ability to network effectively and develop lasting relationships.

Remuneration 

Basic Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE.

Uncapped commission.

Company car, laptop and phone provided.
